- Wind Creek Wetumpka
The Project continues within budget and on track to meet the contract completion date of February 14, 2014. The first 4 levels of the garage are open for patron parking. The garage renovation is progressing on schedule and should be completed soon.
The hotel tower continues to move forward. The concrete structure and the installation of the steel structure for the roof are now complete. The contractor is currently installing the plywood decking and waterproofing on the main roof and installation of the metal roofing is to begin soon. The contractor has begun installing drywall on the lower level hotel room floors and installing tile in the bathrooms. Ductwork, sprinklers and metal stud partitions on the hotel room floors is now complete thru 18. Exterior metal studs and sheathing are being installed on the Hotel Tower up thru the 18th floor and the glass for the "punched" windows in the typical rooms is being installed.
The main Casino floor is completely closed in and roofing operations are complete. The Casino raised access flooring is complete and the contractor is installing ceilings. Installation of the exterior metal studs, sheathing, EIFS finish coat and stone work are ongoing. Drywall work is ongoing on the Casino floor and is progressing on schedule. The BOH area work is complete and furniture has been delivered and set up to allow for occupancy. Kitchen equipment for the EDR has been installed.
- Creek Casino Montgomery Sewer Improvements & Force Main
The contractor, S. Rolin Construction, Inc., has completed their work and the project is within the original budget.
CIEDA has been working with Chambless King Architects on the design of a new Gas Station & Convenience Store at the Wetumpka facility. This structure, located on the site of the original Casino, will begin construction as soon as the existing operations are relocated to the Wind Creek Wetumpka facility and the existing building is demolished.

Lift station oversizing reimbursement is still ongoing with ECUA.
- Poarch Assisted Living Center & Tribal Health Clinic
- Assisted Living Facility
Contractor, S. Rolin - White-Spunner Construction, Inc.: On the exterior of the building the standing seam metal roofing and the modified bitumen flat roofing work is nearing completion and the subcontractor has started installing fascia metal and parapet cap copings. The residential style window units are installed throughout the facility and the aluminum storefront frames and glass are installed in the front Administration area. The stone veneer wainscot is installed around the building. Stone veneer work is nearing completion at the back of house, mechanical equipment yard and the rear screen wall. The heavy timber framing crew has returned and is installing the heavy timbers and roof decking for the rear canopies at the SAIL Center and SAIL Dining area. On the interior of the building the sheetrock hanging and finishing is nearly completed in the east living units and administration areas and the painting subcontractor has begun priming some of the walls in the northeast section. Walls are framed and mostly roughed-in in the SAIL Center area and insulation and sheetrock work is scheduled to begin as the crew moves out of the living units. The painting subcontractor is finishing painting the walls in the west living units and administration areas as well as in the back-of-house areas. Interior door units have been delivered and stocked for the west living units and back-of-house areas, and installation has begun in the west living units. The millwork subcontractor has begun installing interior wood window trim and window stools for the residential style windows. The flooring subcontractor has installed the mud-bed in the kitchen areas and is beginning to install the quarry tile floor and base in the kitchen. Framing, sheathing, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and electrical crews are all working in the SAIL Dining room and the Recreation Building areas. The fireplace firebox and venting has been installed in the Recreation Building. HVAC rooftop units are installed at the kitchen and back-of-house areas, above ceiling units are installed in the administration areas, and the water source heat pump units are being installed inside the mechanical closets in the living units. The current job schedule shows a Substantial Completion date in late Jan. 2014.
- Tribal Health Clinic
Contractor, S. Rolin - White-Spunner Construction, Inc.: On the exterior of the building the masonry subcontractor is nearly complete with the brick and cast stone work. The exterior storefront frames and glass are mostly installed in the window openings, and framing and sheathing work is underway in the large window-walls at each end of the central waiting area. The modified bituminous roofing subcontractor has the flat roof areas dried in, and the standing seam metal roofing subcontractor has the metal roofing installed on the high roof over the central waiting area and continues to install metal roofing on the lower second floor overhang roofs. In the mechanical equipment yard the chiller, generator, generator fuel tank, and water backflow preventer have been installed and the mechanical subcontractor is installing the welded steel piping and pump. In addition, the HVAC subcontractor has installed the large air handling units inside the rooftop equipment rooms. On the interior of the building the metal stud framing on the first floor is complete, approximately 65% of the wall insulation and sheetrock is installed, and the sheetrock taping and finishing work is underway. The painting subcontractor has started priming walls in the mechanical and electrical rooms. Wall framing on the second floor is approximately 50% complete and the wall insulation and sheetrock is being installed in the IT Department area. MEP trades are testing and insulating ductwork, insulating plumbing piping, installing mechanical piping to VAVs, pulling electrical and control wiring, and setting electrical switchgear, panels and equipment on the first floor. On the second floor the MEP trades continue to rough in walls and above ceilings. The current job schedule shows the Substantial Completion date in late Feb. 2014.
- Assisted Living Facility
- Site - ALF & THC
The grading subcontractor is finishing up testing of the sanitary sewer manholes. Curb and gutter work for the roadway around the ALF is progressing. Grading of the roadways continues ahead of the curb and gutter crew, and the subcontractor has begun placing topsoil around the east side of the ALF building. The sidewalk crew is forming and pouring sidewalks on the southeast side of the ALF building. The electrical subcontractor is installing underground communications conduits for phone and data services, as well as, underground conduits to the site light poles.

Martin Construction, Inc.: The project is still awaiting approval from BIA.
- Entertainment District Project
Exterior concrete pours are anticipated to be completed soon; landscaping and irrigation efforts are progressing. The flooring installation is anticipated to be completed soon, while the interior furniture installations will begin shortly. All furniture and arcade equipment has been received and installation has been completed. Millwork and finishes are almost complete, and the main bar and pizza bar installations will be reaching completion soon. Final punch list of the entire building is anticipated to be done shortly and the project is scheduled for "Grand Opening" on or near Halloween.
